New features in XLSTAT 2011

XLSTAT 2011 solves all issues that have been reported to us, takes into account several suggestions, and brings the following features:

  • A new optional advanced module - XLSTAT-Conjoint (a complete module for conjoint analysis)
  • KMO (Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin) statistic for PCA and Factor analysis
  • New preference map in Preference mapping showing the prefmap and contour plots superimposed (XLSTAT-MX)
  • New minor update of 3DPLOT (XLSTAT-3DPlot)
  • New 5 parameters parallel logistic regression (XLSTAT-Dose)
  • Contribution biplots in correspondence analysis
  • Important new programming features. You can now save and reuse dialog box settings, and generate VBA code to automate XLSTAT analyses (see tutorials on Saving and Reusing Settings and Automating PCA)
  • XLSTAT-Life has two new features: Nelson-Aalen analysis and Cumulative Incidence
  • XLSTAT-MX penalty analysis allows now to work on 1-5, 1-7 or 1-9 JAR scale
  • Charts displayed after simple linear regressions with multiple dependent variables and after ANCOVA analyses with 1 quantitative and 1 qualitative variable
  • The ARIMA function has been improved with the possibility to search for the best set of orders
  • Interactions can now be used in PLS regression, where you can also now control the centering or the standardization of the explanatory variables
  • The Mac version is now compatible with Microsoft Excel 2011 SP1
  • Market simulator in XLSTAT-Conjoint
  • Internal preference mapping in XLSTAT-MX
  • Repeated measures Ancova (XLSTAT-Pro)
  • Hosmer-Lemeshow test in Logistic regression (XLSTAT-Pro)
  • 2D visualization of contingency tables (XLSTAT-Pro)
  • XLSTAT-DOE, a new Design of Experiments module that should become a reference in the domain. We will be adding more features to that module in 2012.
  • The XLSTAT-Pivot module has completely been rewritten. It is now entirely based on our technology.
  • Ternary charts in XLSTAT-Pro
  • Passing & Bablok regression in XLSTAT-Life
  • A number of new features were added in minor version updates during 2010

The changes from version 2009 to 2010, and those added in 2010, can be found here.
