New features in XLSTAT 2014

XLSTAT 2014 adds a number of new features:

  • XLSTAT-Pro :
    • New tool for missing data treatment including multiple imputation (MCMC), NIPALS algorithm, nearest neighbor algorithm.
    • Standard error and confidence interval around the mean are displayed in the multiple comparisons of the analysis of variance.
    • Bootstrap confidence intervals around the theoretical values of a contingency table are now computed.
    • Bartlett's test for eigenvalues in discriminant analysis
    • New "protected" option for ANOVA post-hoc tests
    • New results tables in ANOVA, including the possitibility to display the top/bottom 2/3 boxes
    • An increase in speed: In order to improve the processing speed of your data treatment and large volumes of data, the analysis of variance (ANOVA) is now much faster.
    • New feature: When fitting an ANOVA model, you can now test contrasts and their significance.
    • New output in regression analysis: Studentized residuals are now available to help you validate the hypothesis on your observations.
    • Box-Plots: XLSTAT allows you to group your box plot by using various methods (by categories or by variables).
    • New descriptive statistics are available for qualitative variables (including proportions, confidence intervals around the proportions and confidence intervals around the frequencies).
    • The new Association rules feature, capable of analyzing gigabites of data within Excel or from flat files, is a key functionality for market basket analysis. It has also several medical applications.
    • Added quantile regression
    • "Variables characterization" tool, a new option for sampling data, useful for descriptive analysis of categorical data, now available
    • New feature for sensory discrimination tests
    • Added CATA (check-all-that-apply) data analysis.
  • XLStat-Conjoint:
    • Added the Max-Diff analysis technique
  • XLStat-Time:
    • Added a function to test series for stationarity and unit roots.
    • Heteroscedasticity tests (White and Breusch-Pagan tests) are now available
    • Mixture design generation and analysis are now available
  • XLStat-PLSM:
    • The GSCA method (Generalized Structured Component Analysis) added
  • XLStat-OMICs:
    • New module: XLSTAT-OMICs (for OMICs data analysis), for high-throughput OMICs data (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics)
    • This new module, priced like XLSTAT-Pro, allows to run Latent class clustering and regression. This module has been developed in partnership with Statistical Innovations, the makers of Latent Gold, the reference software in this area.

The changes from version 2012 to 2013, and those added in 2013, can be found here.
