Wordstat 6 Computer Assisted Text Analysis

WordStat is a text analysis module designed specifically for analysing textual data, such as journal articles, literary works, interviews, etc. The various examples of text can be categorised automatically using a dictionary approach or manually through assignment to classes. Further analysis can then be done using crosstabulation and Keyword in Context (KWIC) as well as sophisticated statistical methods such as clustering and multidimensional scaling. Existing dictionaries or categorization schemes can then be applied to new pieces of text.

Note: Wordstat is an add-in module that requires QDA Miner or Simstat to work. If you do not already have one of these programs you will need to order one of them below. View a comparison of the two programs to decide which is most appropriate for you.
