We respect your privacy and all personal information obtained through this web site is kept secure in accordance with the U.K. Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2018.
KCS Mailing List
Before downloading files from this site you are invited to join our KCS mailing list, a low volume e-mail list used to keep our customers informed of new developments at Kovach Computing Services. You are not required to join the list (just click the "Download Files" link instead), and if you do decide to join you will need to confirm this by clicking a link in an email sent to you. You may remove yourself from the list at any time at https://www.kovcomp.co.uk/unsubscribe.html. Instructions for unsubscribing are also sent with every posting to the list.
Note that we do not, and never will, pass on this list of e-mail addresses to any other party.
Use of Order Information
When you place an order, this web site requests information such as contact information and item ordered. The contact information you provide is used to send your order. When you submit your order you are redirected to the payment site run by WorldPay, where you then enter your credit card or other payment details. The payment is processed solely by WorldPay; your payment details are never shared with or stored by Kovach Computing Services.
Once your order is processed your contact and order details will be securely stored so that we can in the future determine eligibility for upgrades to software, or readvise you of your license details. If you wish to be excluded from our database, or update your contact details, please let us know at email@example.com.
We agree not to pass your personal data on to any third parties save for the purposes of supplying the goods or services concerned. This may include passing your details to the payment processor, suppliers, couriers and other sub-contractors for the sole purpose of fulfilling your orders. We will ensure that all these third parties have suitable data protection policies to protect your details and only use them for the required purpose.
In the event that we consider it necessary to contact you by e-mail, post or telephone in relation to any business related matter you consent that we may do so.
Like most web sites, this site makes use of log files. For each page viewed these files include the visitor's internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of operating system and browser, date/time stamp and referring page. These are used to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site and gather demographic information.
The above information is not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
Cookies and Web Beacons
Cookies are files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to the device you use when you visit a website. Cookies are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie. Cookies do lots of different and useful jobs, such as remembering your preferences, and generally improving your online experience.
Third party cookies
By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. You can also prevent Google from collecting information (including your IP address) via cookies and processing this information by downloading this browser plugin and installing it: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google AdWords and DoubleClick DART Cookies
This site is advertised on Google's AdWords network and many of our visitors come to this site after clicking on our ad on Google search results pages or other sites. Google AdWords and the associated DoubleClick system set their own cookies. Our site uses Google's conversion tracking so that we can see how many people who come to the site through a Google ad go on to download our software. The cookies used do not contain any personally identifiable information.
You may opt out of the use of DART cookies by visiting the advertising opt-out page. You can also opt out of third-party ads served through Google's network by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
Most modern browsers will allow you to:
- See what cookies you've got and delete them on an individual basis.
- Block third party cookies.
- Block cookies from particular sites.
- Block all cookies from being set.
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser.
You should be aware that any preferences will be lost if you delete cookies. Ironically, this includes where you have opted out from cookies, as this requires an opt-out cookie to be set. Also, if you block cookies completely many websites will not work properly and some functionality on these websites will not work at all. We do not recommend turning cookies off when using our Digital Products and Services for these reasons.
The links below take you to the ‘Help' sections for each of the major browsers so that you can find out more about how to manage your cookies.
